Dear Edinburgh Supporter
Despite a much improved performance and the welcome return of Brendan Laney and Simon Webster, the Gunners slipped to their third defeat in a row on Saturday in Newport. http://www.edinburghgunners.org.uk/index.php?pageid=viewreport.php?id=20
Despite this set back, the boys are still only one win and three points behind third-placed Connacht and so a win on Friday night against Munster can see them climb back up the table.
Other matches this weekend in the Celtic League see Neath-Swansea Ospreys visit Netherdale to take on the Borders, Cardiff at home to Gwent Dragons, and Llanelli travelling to Leinster all on Friday night. Saturday sees an Irish derby with Connacht at home to Ulster and a battle of the Warriors when Glasgow travel to Wales to take on the Celtic Warriors.

Travel
Looking ahead to next weekend and Edinburgh travel to Connacht for their very first Semi-final. The match takes place on Saturday 15th November at the Sportsground with a 2pm kick off. Although we do not have an official trip organised, the number of people making the trip is growing. So if you are planning on travelling remember to let us know.

If you can't make the trip across the Irish Sea but still fancy watching the match, do not worry. We are currently looking for somewhere to show the match so we can meet up and cheer on the boys together. Juniors
Junior members of the Supporters Club can now have the opportunity to have a birthday message announced during home matches. If you know anyone who would appreciate this then let us know. You can either e-mail juniors@edinburghgunners.org.uk or speak to a committee member in the Clubroom at the match prior to the date you want the announcement made. Please note, however, that whilst we will make every effort to read out messages, Edinburgh Rugby are not able to guarantee any individual message.

Early Bird Training Shirts
Remember if you have not collected your training shirt yet you can do so from the Clubroom on match nights.
We have also had lots of requests from people who want to exchange their training shirts for a different size. Edinburgh Rugby does not have the resources to do so but if you would like to e-mail your details of your shirt and your e-mail address or contact number, we can set up an online swap shop.

Rugby World Cup
OK, so the Scotland boys have not made it easy for themselves of their fans watching back home. But, they have made it through to the Quarterfinals of the World Cup with three wins out of four. So bring on the Aussies!!
At 10am on Saturday 8th November Scotland face Australia, the reigning champions and hosts, in their own back yard in Brisbane.
