Dear Edinburgh Supporter
"Normal Service Has Been Resumed"
After a few bad results Edinburgh have finally got their Celtic League challenge back on track with wins against Munster at Meadowbank and a fantastic away win against the Celtic Warriors last Friday night. http://www.edinburghgunners.org.uk/index.php?pageid=viewreport.htm
And who could forget the superb Celtic League Semi-Final win away to Connacht in front of a small, but very vocal and absolutely delighted travelling support to not take the Gunners to their first ever final but also make them the first Scottish professional side to reach a cross-border final!
More about that later, as our attention must now turn to the Heineken Cup and the visit of reigning Champions Toulouse to Meadowbank on Sunday. It seems that there are no easy matches for the boys, and Sunday's will be one of the toughest. However confidence should be high within the squad, and with the team almost back to full strength and the support of the Meadowbank crowd, I'm sure the boys will go out give it their all.
You can keep up to date with all of the latest news from the Celtic League and Cup on the official web site at http://www.celticleague.com and the Heineken Cup official site at http://www.ercrugby.co.uk/

Caledonian Brewery
We are thrilled to announce that the Supporters Cub has a new sponsor in the form of The Caledonian Brewery, a much-loved part of Edinburgh life, and one which has great appeal to many rugby supporters! (http://www.caledonian-brewery.co.uk)
The Caledonian Brewery has long-established links with the rugby community, having been shirt sponsors of Glasgow Caledonian Reds (for which we'll forgive them now that they've seen the light!) and they're continuing sponsorship of Watsonians and London Scottish. As we continue to look for ways to get the Edinburgh Rugby Supporters Club firmly established, it's a great boost to be associated with one of the true icons of Edinburgh.
The first main effect you the supporter will see from our new relationship will be the availability of Caledonian 80/- in the Supporters Clubroom. We also hope to be able to add Deuchars IPA, the 2003 Champion Beer of Britain, in the near future.
As well as this we will also be working with the Caledonian Brewery to organise a number of social events for the Supporters Club at the famous Caley Brewery. So keep an eye on both the website and future issues of the newsletter for more details.

Celtic Cup Final Tickets
As already highlighted, the big day is coming - the first appearance in the final of a cross-border tournament by a Scottish professional side....and it's Edinburgh!
So you're obviously going to want to come along to Murrayfield on 20th December and be with your mates and scream your lungs out for Edinburgh (go on, you know you want to!) But what happens if you get to your seat and you find yourself surrounded by loads of people with funny accents (and that's just the Weegies, never mind the Irish!)
To make sure this doesn't happen, buy your tickets from the Supports Clubroom either before or after the Heineken Cup match against Toulouse on Sunday 7th December. These tickets are in a block reserved for Edinburgh supporters, so you'll be amongst friends. That way we can sing and shout and make a bigger noise together - just what the players want from us! So get your tickets from us, and play your part in making sure our boys know they have our support, the support they deserve!

The Clubroom's on the Move!
For one match only, the Celtic Cup Final, we will be re-locating the Supporters Clubroom to the Murrayfield Wanderers Clubhouse. A big thank you goes to everyone at Wanderers for letting us use their facilities!
More details will be announced soon, but if you want somewhere to meet up with your mates before or after the match come along to Wanderers. There, you will not only be able to sample some of that wonderful 80/- but also mingle with the players after the match. And who knows, they with any luck they'll be bringing along a new piece of silverware with them!

On Sunday 7th December there will be a collection at Meadowbank during the Toulouse match. So please bring along your loose change and brand new toys and do your part to help the Sick Kids enjoy their Christmas. Toys needn't be wrapped although if you want to wrap them please label them clearly to state whether it's for a boy or girl and for which age.
