Dear Edinburgh Supporter
So Edinburgh finish their Heineken Cup group lying second with 22 points from five wins out of six. Their only defeat coming in the last match away to Toulouse. http://www.edinburghgunners.org.uk/index.php?pageid=viewreport.php?id=39
So the Gunners now have just over two months to prepare for their return journey to the Stade Ernest Wallon where they will again meet the reigning European Champions in the quarters final stages.
To keep up to date with all the latest news from the latest Heineken Cup visit the official web site http://ercrugby.com.
So attention now switches back to the Celtic League and the visit of Cardiff Blues on Friday night. Despite both teams having a number of Internationals missing due to the upcoming 6 Nations, Cardiff will still prove a tough opposition with players such as Craig Quinnell, Andy Moore and Matt Cockbain all featuring in their starting line up.

TOULOUSE TRIP
I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made the trip over to Toulouse for what was a fantastic weekend, despite the result. I know that all the players really appreciated your support and will be hoping for more of the same when they return for the quarter final on April 10th.
There were far too many highlights of the weekend to mention them all, and some that really shouldn't be repeated (remember what goes on tour stays on tour!!), but here are just a couple of moments that everyone who was there will remember for a long time!
Imagine the scene, 54 Edinburgh supporters 2 miles from the stadium and about to be late for the match having travelled nearly 1,000 miles to get to the match. We persuaded the bus driver to pull over and all of us jumped out and walked up the embankment. With the pipers playing we walked into the stadium and got to our seats with a whole 3 minutes to spare.
After the match the supporters found themselves with about 8,000 Toulouse supports between them and their bus. Not to be put off we hoisted the Edinburgh Rugby flag, pumped up the bagpipes and marched straight through them. They parted like the Red Sea. We were cheered, people shook our hands and we were given beer and some fantastic Toulouse sausage. They clapped in time with the music and all of the Edinburgh supporters felt they really respected the fact that we had made the effort to travel to support our boys!

CLUBROOM
Remember to come along to the clubroom on Friday night. The clubroom now features an information point, the supporters man of the match, pre-order full-time drinks and drinks from the supporters for the players.
But all of this costs money, so to raise some funds for the supporters club on Friday in the clubroom we will be raffling a Stade Toulouse T-shirt signed by the Edinburgh team. This is a unique item, so get yourself along to the clubroom and buy a raffle ticket for your chance to win. The Man of the Match will make the draw after the match, and if the winner is not present we will draw again.
Also this week the voting for Man of the Match will be done by value and not the number of coins.
Remember that the money for the raffle and man of the match voting goes to buy the team a well-earned drink, so dig deep into your pockets!

The lucky children will again be selected at random so if you know anyone interested please complete the application form in the clubroom at any home game.
