Dear Edinburgh Supporter

With the Gunners missing a number of players off on 6 Nations duty, Friday's visit of Connacht to Meadowbank will be another tough challenge. Not only will Connacht be at almost full strength after not losing any players to the 6 Nations, but they will also be seeking revenge on our boys after that fantastic win at the Galway Sportsground in the Celtic Cup Semi-final last November.
We know it will be tough, but you can do your part by getting right behind the Gunners on Friday night. Scream, shout, do you whatever you want, just make some noise and help the boys get back to winning ways!

BUS TO THE BORDERS
We are currently in the process of organising a bus for the Borders match at Netherdale on Friday 20th February. The coach will be leaving Murrayfield at 5.30 and places cost £13 for the coach and match ticket. For further details keep an eye on the web site.

JUNIORS
Following the fantastic response to our competition to find a mascot for the home game against Leeds a few weeks back, the supporters club are please to announce that we have arranged to provide the mascots for several of the remaining homes games this season. The lucky children will again be selected at random so if you know anyone interested please complete the application form in the clubroom at any home game. Alternatively you can email the child's name, age, season ticket number and contact details to juniors@edinburghgunners.org.uk

So I'd just like to again take this opportunity to congratulate Chris Paterson on his appointment as captain, and wish him luck for the upcoming campaign from all the Gunners supporters.
Congratulations and Good Luck also goes to Brendan Laney, Derrick Lee, Simon Webster, Tom Philip, Mike Blair, Simon Cross, Nathan Hines, Scott Murray, Ally Hogg and Simon Taylor who were also named in the squad to play Wales on 14th February.
