Dear Edinburgh Supporter
After a brave performance against Toulouse (and 37,500 fans!) in the biggest game in the team's history, Edinburgh then faced the task of travelling to Cork to face a Munster team on a high after reaching the final four of the Heineken Cup. The boys showed that fighting quality that has delighted the Meadowbank crowd so many times this season and came away with a fantastic 28-17 win. http://www.edinburghgunners.org.uk/index.php?pageid=viewreport.php?id=57
Next up for the Gunners are the Celtic Warriors on Friday night at Meadowbank. The Ponypridd/Bridgend combination will have no fears about coming up to Scotland to face Edinburgh as in their last match they won the battle of the Warriors by beating Glasgow convincingly at Hughenden.
The Warriors have will bring a up strong team (who else do you know that can afford to have a record points scorer like Neil Jenkins on the bench?!) and as with every match in the Celtic League it will be tough task for our boys. But they can do it and you can play your part by getting right behind the Gunners on Friday night. The players themselves acknowledge that the fans can become the sixteenth man on the pitch for them, so scream, shout, do you whatever you want, just make some noise and help the boys get back to winning ways!

LAST MATCH OF THE SEASON
For those of you that haven't heard yet, the Gunners final match of the season away to Cardiff has been switched to Thursday 13th May and will be shown live on S4C.
As this is now almost a mid week match there is no official trip, however I know a number of fans have already booked their flights down. So if you are among those supporters thinking of making the trip keep an eye on the website http://www.edinburghgunners.org.uk and the forum for tips on where to go to meet up with other Gunners fans.
If you can't make the trip, don't worry. Keep an eye on the web site and forum for details of pubs that you can go and watch the match in Edinburgh.

THE 100 CLUB
For those lucky enough to be at our end o season party, you may remember that the Gunners squad presented Graeme Burns and Allan Jacobsen special awards to acknowledge their achievements in joining Duncan Hodge as the only players to make 100 professional appearances for the team.
As I have said before only the players themselves can really explain how much effort has to be put in to get to a level where they are good enough to play a sport professionally. Therefore to represent your club over 100 times is a tremendous achievement and one that the Gunners squad feels should be recognised.
So I am pleased to announce that over the last couple of matches two other players have reached this landmark and have joined the 100 club!
CHRIS PATERSON and CRAIG SMITH
Chris joined the Edinburgh team in season 1999/2000 after starring in the 1999 Scottish Cup Final for Gala. Mossy joined the 100 club by appearing in the biggest game that any professional Scottish side has made, when the Gunners faced Toulouse in the Heineken Cup quarter final. During his 100 appearances he has become the Gunners top try scorer, with 36 tries. He has also kicked 56 points for the team.
Craig joined the Edinburgh team at the start of season 2000/2001. Biggers joined the 100 club when he came on as a second half replacement in the fantastic win over Munster in Cork a fortnight ago. During his 100 appearances he has scored eight tries for the Gunners including one in the thrilling 26-25 Celtic Cup Semi win over Connacht in Galway.
Well done boys! Lets hope we see you in a Gunners shirt for seasons to come so you can add to these!
