Edinburgh Academy players
Six of Edinburgh Rugby's Apprentices will be in action this weekend.
Steven Lawrie earns a place on the bench in the senior squad to face Llanelli Scarlets on Friday night and an opportunity to get his first game time of the season for Edinburgh Rugby.
Three Apprentices will take part in the new Scottish Rugby Club "Super Cup" Competition - in the same game in Group B - when Watsonians host their city rivals Heriot's. With there being an odd number of teams in each group, Dundee HSFP have no game and therefore Alan Dymock and Cameron Ferguson will have a free weekend.
With business as usual in Premier 2 and 3, Dave McCall will play for Stew Mel FP and Fraser McKenzie will play for Dunfermline.
