Edinburgh v Ospreys. Team News

Edinburgh team to play Ospreys

Edinburgh coach Lynn Howells has named his team for the "Superheroes" themed match against Ospreys at Murrayfield tomorrow night.

Allan Jacobsen returns to the front row while Simon Cross and Alan MacDonald start in the back row. Greig Laidlaw has been named at scrum-half, and Lucio Lopez Fleming fills the left wing berth. Currie's Alistair Warnock plays his second consecutive game at full back.

Lynn Howells said: "It's good to be back to Magners League action. The players have trained well this week and once again, players like Simon Cross, Lucio Lopez Fleming and Greig Laidlaw have the chance to show they can play at this level.

"It'll be difficult as all the Opsreys players have been allowed back from the Welsh camp so they will be near enough full-strength. But if we show the same commitment and team spirit that we showed in Leinster, I'm sure we can cause an upset."

David Young, who has been on loan to Edinburgh, has been recalled by Leicester Tigers as front row cover for their forthcoming Guinness Premiership matches.
