Edinburgh & Edinburgh Supporters Committee invite all supporters
With the start of the season days away I am asking all supporters to get behind Edinburgh.
After this Friday's game against Leinster we have 3 home games in a row and I would like to see large crowds turning up to support the boys.
I am fully aware a number of us are anything but happy about the way things were handled during the summer. We can not change what has happened.
While the union have made it clear they have made mistakes in the past they have assured the Supporters' Committee that they will change. There has been a lot said and written during this time and while it will be a long time before we put our trust back with the Union again, it must be pointed out this has not been the fault of the Edinburgh players or management and for this reason we must get behind the team.
The current squad was put together by the previous owners and it would be great to see this team doing well in the Magners League. The players have worked hard during the close season and looked good during the warm up games at home.
I hope we can forget some of our differences and get behind Simon Cross and the rest of the players. There will also be an opportunity to meet the players with a special Meet and Greet night being organised for Wednesday 26th September at Murrayfield. The evening starts at 7:30pm and more details of this will follow soon.
