It is with great sadness that Edinburgh Rugby Supporters' Club convey the passing of Andrew McMenigall and his colleague Toby Wallace, who were recently involved in a fatal cycling accident in Cornwall.
They were on a charity bicycle ride from Land's End to John o'Groats to raise funds for the Kirsten Scott Memorial Trust.
Andrew was a big fan of Edinburgh Rugby - he was a season ticket holder for almost a decade - and was instrumental in the sponsorship deal between Edinburgh Rugby and Aberdeen Asset Management.
Many of you may have known Andrew personally through his interest in Edinburgh Rugby and Scottish rugby in general.
The thoughts of ERSC are with the families and friends of Andrew and Toby at this tragic time.
Please find below a link to Andrew and Toby's Virgin Money Giving page for their bike ride if you would like to make a donation to the Kirsten Scott Trust.
Kirsten, who was a colleague of both men at Aberdeen Asset Management, lost her battle with cancer in October 2011.
The aim of the Trust is to provide grants to young people under the age of 26 in order for them to fulfil ambitions, enhance their personal development, and make a positive contribution, either at home or overseas.
