Frank Hadden, head coach, said: "Rory is starting this week. He is looking really sharp in training. It will be a fantastic opportunity for him. Simon Cross' injury in the summer has taken him longer than expected to get back to form, but he is now looking ready to play. Connacht is a strong side but we are pretty confident we are going in the right direction. We have made progress every week. It is vital we make more progress this weekend."
Chris Paterson commented: "It will be a very tough match this weekend. Connacht won in Wales last week and are playing with much more width this season. We will have to be at our best to get the win we need."
