Gloucester v Edinburgh. Team News
Edinburgh team for Gloucester
Lynn Howells has made two changes to the team which beat Border Reivers last week for tomorrow's Heineken Cup match against Gloucester.
Ross Rennie swaps places with Simon Taylor to start on the openside while Matt Dey replaces the injured Andrew Easson. On the bench, Andrew Kelly comes in for Steven Lawrie and Fergus Pringle for Chris Bentley. Apprentice Steven Turnbull also takes his place among the substitutes instead of Lucio Lopez Fleming.
Speaking ahead of the third round match, the head coach said: "It's been a difficult week for us not training with the backline we wanted because of injuries. In the forwards, we've decided to go with Dave Callam for what will be a physical start to the game and Simon Taylor can come on and play the rugby afterwards.
"It is always hard playing away from home, and going to Gloucester adds a little more to the game as they pride themselves in winning in front of their home crowd. That will have a huge effect on them and they will do everything they can to do make sure they win, so it will make it more difficult for us. It's about us playing rugby to the best of our ability and if we do that, we're in with a shout."
Unavailable for selection: Rob Dewey (knee), Dave Duley (ribs), Andrew Easson (neck), Allister Hogg (knee), Peter Jorgensen (calf), Craig Smith (neck), Simon Webster (lower leg & ankle).
