GUNNERS HOST FAMILY DAY

Sunday 21 August - Edinburgh Gunners' Family Day, 1pm to 5pm Murrayfield Stadium. Entry to the stadium is via the Riversdale bridge and the coach park.

Edinburgh Gunners will host Scottish Rugby's first pre-season Family Day at Murrayfield this Sunday giving everyone the chance to come face to face with some of their Scotland favourites and stars of the Celtic League.

The free events, open to all, will feature fun for all the family including skills and coaching sessions, meet and train with the players, autograph signings and treasure hunts, food and drink, bouncy castles, skills inflatables, face painters and lots of other entertainment as well as the chance for those who have not already bought their season tickets to do so at bargain early bird prices.

Fraser Bedwell, Scottish Rugby Community Marketing Manager, said: "With an exciting new season for the Gunners, Reivers and Warriors fast approaching there is no better way to get ready for the campaign ahead than at our action packed family days beginning with the Gunners at Murrayfield on Sunday. There will be a host of fun rugby activities on offer for all ages including training sessions, autograph signings, photo opportunities, a barbeque and much more. Fans will also be able to secure their great value season tickets at the family days, if they are not already in the thousands who have signed up for the new campaign."

This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in rugby to come along and check out their local pro-team. Whether you've been to games before and would like to meet your favourite players or even if you're completely new to the game and just want to check it out and see what it's all about, you will be made very welcome by the clubs. Scottish Rugby pro-team season tickets offer exceptional value as they work out at under £7 per game for an adult and, of course, kids go free.

The Reivers and Warriors are also hosting open days:

Sun 28/8 Border Reivers, Netherdale, 1pm to 5pm
Sun 4/9 Glasgow Warriors, Hughenden, 1pm to 5pm
