Following today's announcement of Michael Bradley's departure at the end of the season, the Edinburgh Rugby Supporters Club make the following statement.
"Supporters were postive going into the start of the season, after reaching the HEC semi final, increased budget and number of signings. Unfortunately, it has not developed as everyone had hoped.
While it is disappointing that it has come to this, results have not been good enough this season and, as head coach, Michael Bradley has to take responsibility. Ultimately, he has paid the price for results.
Looking to the future, while the ERSC have no veiw as to who should be appointed, we would like to see an experienced head coach brought in to be assisted by a young Scottish coach - with a view to that coach ultimately taking over.
With the immediate future of the coaching staff now confirmed, we hope that all supporters will continue to suport the team in the remaining games this season."
