ULSTER TEAM FOR FRIDAY

This game doesn't currently appear on the TV schedules. However, if there is a decision to televise the match, The Murrayfield Hotel have agreed to show it. More here if we find out.

South African flanker Gavin Pfister will make his first start for Ulster in Friday's Celtic League game against Edinburgh at Ravenhill.

The open-side specialist was drafted in recently from English Division One side Pertemps Bees as cover for the injured Neil McMillan and Andy Ward.

He came on as a late replacement in the league game against Cardiff Blues but is not eligible for Heineken Cup games.

Pfister replaces Neil Best who is suspended for three yellow cards.

Paul Steinmetz and Tyrone Howe return to the backs.

In the replacements, Rory Best replaces Nigel Brady at hooker while speedster Andrew Maxwell also returns to the squad.

Ulster are currently just one place above Edinburgh in the Celtic League table.

Ulster: Cunningham, Bowe, Maggs, Steinmetz, Howe, Humphreys, Campbell, McCormack, Shields, Moore, Longwell, McCullough, Feather (cpt), Pfister, Wilson.

Replacements: R Best, S Best, Frost, Mustchin, Doak, Larkin, Maxwell.
