Silent Auction, Wed 28th Nov
Feeling bored after the end of the World Cup? Need another date for your diary? Then look no further.
The Edinburgh Rugby Foundation is holding a Silent Auction on Wednesday 28th November at the Stewart's Melville clubhouse, Inverleith. By helping us to raise funds for the Foundation, you may be able to pick up a few Christmas presents as well as a few treats for yourself! We will have lots ranging from the bric-a-brac and gift sets to more unique items.

This is the ERF's first major fundraiser and we need your help to make it a success. If you have anything in the bottom drawer or attic that you would like to donate (everything donated must be in perfect condition) then contact us in the ways below. So, if you are looking to clear out your basement, attic or bottom drawer of those perfect items that you bought or were gifted but will never use, then please donate them to a very worthwhile cause! We can also arrange to uplift items if necessary.

A Silent Auction is exactly what it says - silent! Every person will be allocated a number when they arrive and you will be free to wander round the room to have a good look at all the prizes on offer. If you see something you like, you write your number and your bid down on the piece of paper next to the item. You will need to keep an eye on it as the evening proceeds to make sure that no one out-bids you - if they do then you will need to make a new bid if you want to win! At the end of the auction, the highest listed bidder wins the prize.

New Body to Promote Rugby in Eastern Scotland
First AGMMembers of the Edinburgh Rugby Foundation should by now have received notification of the forthcoming AGM to be held at Boroughmuir Rugby Club on the evening of Wednesday 28th February 2007, starting at 7.30PM.
The meeting is only open to members of the Foundation so please ensure you have your membership card or other identification with you.
