I'm in shock! Where the F*** has that been?! So nice to see us going for it a bit more, though Argentina were also a bit poor and directionless. But... what happens now? Does it make any difference to our ranking since we didn't get the points difference we needed? Does Frank get yet another reprieve? As good as it feels to finally get a good win, I'm still worried about the longer term.
Oh EddieO'Sullivan that for now- WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The Irish-Aussie difference was 10.02 points so Ireland lost nothing for losing. Scotland get 2 rating point which takes them to 76.92, so above Fiji to 9th but not above Ireland who ar on 77.18.
A 15+ point win would have taken us into 8th.
Arg still in 3rd place, would we really deserve it?? |

Yes but not that affect the rankings for the world cup slots. IIRC this is some dodge by the sanzar nations to ensure the smaller countries don't pick up ranking points over the summer.
I wouldn't be looking to get many points from the autumn tests anyway |

| Ranking points for the world cup include the Autumn Internationals but we have already conceded that we will get nothing out of Kiwis or Saffas and Canada are below us anyway. |

Humble pie it is for now then
I still hope this doesn't mean we'll be subjected to too much longer with Hadden at the helm though. |

| Am I right in thinking that's our first ever win in the southern hemisphere? |

What a great display from the boys! It was a great match to watch and thought our defence were brilliant. Our first win over Argentina for 18 years and our first win in the Southern Hemisphere for 26 years - WOW!
Can anyone tell me who was man of the match last night? The coverage was cut short and I still haven't heard. - Cheers. Definitely a few contenders. |

| at the risk of being cynical and depressing, has parks' little game time saved his test career? |

I would hope it's demoinstrated what he should, in fact be used for - coming on for the last fifteen or twenty to control a game through kicking long when we need to protect a lead. |
