Depending on which side of the fence you sit , do you think Hadden will have the nerve to pick Godman/Nick DeLuca or Patterson/Nick Deluca?

I just wonder ( probably too cynically) that if he does (and Scotland win) then the questions will be asked why he didn't do it earlier and therefore is out of a job , or if he sticks with his formula and it does work ( like the England game) he may save his job.

I completely agree, hes backed himself into a corner because now hes pinned the importance of rankings to these games and not just development his job is at risk whatever. Hindisght is easy but he is paying the price of not developing the squad sooner.

no, hadden is going to do what he did in the 6 Nations with Jason White - claium that Parks has not recovered from a spurious injury thus allowing new person to be brought in without conceding that his selection is anything other than faultless!

I checked the mediazone site on Monday, and they were advertising other games for Saturday but not ours - I'll go back and book it if they're advertising they're showing it now! Smile

The mediazone website says the game kicks off at 3.10 ( 7.10 here ) but the Scottish rugby website , which now does not advertise the game is on mediazone ( as it did yesterday ) says the game kicks off at 8.10 ? Anybody know which one is correct?

SCOTS MAKE SIX CHANGES AND AIM TO FINISH WITH A WIN
Posted: 12/Jun/08
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scotland have made six changes, two of them positional, in their team for Saturday's second Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires.

Head coach Frank Hadden has made the alterations with the firm intent of bouncing back with a win after last weekends narrow loss to the Pumas in Rosario.

The changes see the Edinburgh trio of full-back Hugo Southwell, wing Simon Webster and stand-off Phil Godman drafted into the starting line-up in the backs and Glasgow Warriors openside John Barclay promoted to the back-row.

Chris Paterson, switched from full-back to wing, will become Scotlands most-capped player with his 88th appearance, while Allister Hogg moves from flanker to No 8.

Elsewhere Mike Blair becomes the 25th Scot to reach the landmark of 50 caps, while Nick De Luca returns to the 22 for the first time since the RBS 6 Nations Championship loss to Ireland.

Hadden said: "The only reason for the changes is to finish the season with a win.

Phil has been playing consistently well for some time now and deserves this opportunity. It makes sense if we are to get the best out of him to surround him with familiar faces.

John Barclays inclusion reflects our need to perform better at the breakdown."
