I read somewhere that they would be released in June but can't remember where that was, so how reliable that would be.

Fixtures for the Magners legaue have tended to be announced the 2nd last week in July with the HEC fixtures the week after but I don't know what the plan for this season is.

The football fixtures have already been announced, as I'm reliably informed have the club rugby fixtures (for Scotland anyway). I don't know about anyone else, but that kind of makes me wonder what's keeping them at the ML...

Remembered where I read June the ER website FAQ about season tickets.

When will we know our fixtures?
Of course we are dependent on the Competition rules, but it is likely that fixtures will be announced in June 2008.

No, but I genuinely don't understand what the delay is. I understand Baggage's point about groundsharing with football clubs, but surely the only teams affected by this are Glasgow and the Ospreys, and the fixtures for the corresponding football teams, Partick Thistle and Swansea, have been known for weeks. Are we waiting for the Irish to announce their club fixtures or something?

All of the above is of course before we get to the point that it's the same teams as last season so it should in theory be a case of just publishing the same list as before in a different order! Very Happy

Are they?

By the way, my automatic signature is out of commission at the moment for some reason, so in order to save space you might want to delete this "manual" one when quoting me. Smile

No. Bristol were going to be sharing with the Dragons this season while the Memorial Ground is redeveloped however this has been delayed

There is rumours of others in the South West ground sharing with Swindon but nothing concrete.

Yes, I wondered if that was what was being referred to. Don't know if it would have made much difference to the point I was making as the GP fixtures were announced weeks ago as well.

24/25/26 Oct Connacht v Edinburgh

28/29/30 Nov Edinburgh v Ospreys

26/27/28 Dec Edinburgh v Glasgow

02/03/04 Jan Glasgow v Edinburgh
09/10/11 Jan Edinburgh v Ulster

20/21/22 Feb Munster v Edinburgh

06/07/08 Mar Llanelli v Edinburgh
27/28/29 Mar Edinburgh v Connacht

03/04/05 Apr Edinburgh v Cardiff
17/18/19 Apr Edinburgh v Leinster
24/25/26 Apr Ospreys v Edinburgh

08/09/10 May Edinburgh v Dragons

We've got back to back games against Glasgow over the Christmas/New Year holiday, apparently because the Welsh and Irish didn't want to travel too far then. Razz
