This event has not been publicised very well north of the border, but there is a help for heroes rugby match being played at Twickenham on 20th September (next Saturday !)

A few names you might of heard of are turning up for a runaround on the field including Martin Johnson, Jonah Lomu, Lawrance Dallaglio, Scott Gibbs, Will Greenwood and the scots are being represented by Dave Hilton, Kenny Logan ( not sure if he will be wearing a sparkly shirt )and Gordon Bulloch.
The RFU have given Twickenham for free, The players are turning out for free so all proceeds will go to help for heroes, a non political organisation/charity whose aim is to provide funds /equipment for serviceman and women who have been injured in the line of duty.
If you can not make the journey south then sky sports will be showing the game.  |
