I am dissapointed with this potential signing as in my opinion it is an area that Edinburgh desperately need to to strengthen. At present we have lightweight ( Turnball/Patterson/Webster ) and inexperienced ( Robertson ) which in my opinion makes us predictable . By most reports we failed to finish off moves at the weekend , I would love to see us have a bit of power and pace at the end of a move.
On the same subject I would like us to have a ball carrier in the forwards who the opposition genuinely fear and feel the need to double team him
We are rapidly becoming or even are a "nice" team , I would love us to have a bruiser or two in the team. |

Jamiet I partly agree with you but I would rather see opportunities given to Scottish talent. As A supporter obviously I like to see my team win but I also really enjoy seeing the younger players breaking through. One of the highlights of last season was seeing our young inexperienced back line developing. So far this season i have enjoyed seeing Robertson developing into a cracking player, if we'd drafted in an overseas players he wouldn't have had that chance?
Remember we also have Hugo (fairly bit lump) plus Eason as people who can play in the wing/full back role. Obviously if we were managing to use Scottish players and win this arguement would be more convincing. |

I have a feeling that this deal is more to do with Stortoni than anything else. Played together at Bristol and Pumas.
We need the guys we've got to perform to their ability week in week out - if they do we will win the likes of the NGD game. The talent is there, it is time for our coach to earn the bucks again - show that last year was the beginning rather than a blip. |
