just a few comments from me :
1)Edinburgh actually played really well for the 1st 20 mins with some really good quick hands and nice play between backs & forwards. I actually realised I spent the bulk of the first half looking right (into their 22) as that was where we were camped.....we just couldnt turn the flippin possession into points....annoying in the extreme....BUT there was decent play on offer.
2) scrum was a mess until Cross and Ford came on....sorry to say but we were simply outdone in the front row.
3)we fell asleep at the breakdown a lot and at one point the poor wee ball was just sitting there waiting .... and nobody wanted to play! I think I may have been swearing at that point!
4)Ulster were desperate for that win...and it showed...but they 'aint that good....
5)we looked too desperate for the win (at points) and pushed it too hard IMO
6)David Blair played very well....and Mark Robertson needs the ball more as he is damn good....would he do well in the centre? he plays intelligent lines and it got me thinking about the whole 12/13 debate!...
7)why the HELL did we kick possession away in the last 5 mins when we needed the damn ball to score?!?!?! Id got well grumpy by then!
8)Matt Williams is a twat......no reason....he just is.... 
Its definitely in this team to win.....but its getting pretty urgent that they do so...and soon.
ps. Ulster is still a fab trip...no mater what the outcome  |
