I'd like to see us get rid of Frank and move Robinson up to head coach!
Hadden has had long enough and despite 2 wins over england his record is fairly poor and the style of play we adopt is disgusting!
I would be interested to hear your thoughts |

While Robinson has in the past refused to rule out taking the Scotland job at some stage when questioned, I think we'd like him to be allowed to try and finish what he's started at Edinburgh first. |

I'm selfish, I would prefer that Andy stays and continues the good work. I would prefer that we progress in the Magners League and Heineken Cup and think that given the proper level of support Nick, Andy, Rob and the rest of the team are the people to do it.
It was a risk for Edinburgh Rugby and Andy Robinson to team up last year. I remember him walking down from the stand for the first time and I have to say that in every aspect of his period in charge I have been impressed, tv interviews, forward thinking team selections and approach to professional sport I think it has been a success for both parties.
Edinburgh have an exciting group of talented players who may just be as good as anyone in europe under the right coach. Season 2006/7 wasn't the best and like others I considered whether to buy a season ticket for 2007/8, thank goodness I did. Whether the coming year will be as progressive as last year I don't know but I hope the supporters, players and Andy Robinson all stay onboard for the ride. |

| How about Lineen full time with Robinson as part time help and bring Lofreda to Glasgow? |

I know he must have disappointed some people at Leicester, but surely the guy hasn't done anything so bad as to deserve being sent to the gulag? |

Leicester are clearly a club unprepared to have a coach "learning on the job". He would likely be given more time at a club where expectations aren't quite so high, like Glasgow. Or indeed Edinburgh, in the unthinkable event that it comes to that... |

I'd like to see what he's going to do with the team this year, I think it's too early to talk of AR taking over the Scotland job just yet... |

| Though my Brasilian sensibilities rail against the idea of an Argentine coach, I think we could do worse than Loffreda. Having already moved his family to this side of the pond he may be reluctant to leave again quickly, and we might be able to snag him. After all, he managed to turn a fairly one-dimensional team with a few outstanding talents into the third best rugby team in the world. What might he be able to do with us? |

| I see Brive are looking for a new coach after Olivier Magne announced that he is stepping down as coach at the end of the season. I am sure they would be keen to get a hold of Loffreda |

| Are Stade Francais not also looking for a new coach and have Hernandez as their trump card as far as Loffreda is concerned. |

What fun! O Sullivan massively underachieved with Ireland and I have had enough of that already.
I'm sure big Nathan would put an arm round his neck and give him an appropriate welcome if he did put in an appearance. |

I have mixed views about o'sullivan. I dont get as hysterical as some about that choking incident but I dont like his obvious gamesmanship tactics ahead of games and tendency to moan about stuff. Maybe it works in cases as it seems to do for Alex Ferguson in creating a siege mentality. What gives me doubts about his coaching ability and influence on Irish rugby is the way his team folds when either oconnell or odricoll are off form. No man is bigger than the team but leaders on the pitch are crucial in rugby and I wonder how much his career has depended on the form of these 2 players in particular. We saw what a lot of hot air Woodward was when without Johnson particularly on the Lions tour.
English is right about the job being a potentially appealling one. We are not as bad as we appear and someone with a bit of focus and vision could rectify that possibly very quickly and boost their own image. The downside for Robinson coming to Edinburgh was minimal. We still need to be careful who we choose because another disaster will mean another 2 or 3 years lost and if i was the sru i would be trying to get to the bottom of why lofreda got booted out of leicester so quickly first. |
