I think it's fair to say we most likely have a full squad now. Looking at the front five it seems interesting. I would go for
1. Jacobsen
2. Ford
3. Cross
4. Mustchin
5. Hamilton
At the same time Gissing and Hamilton would be a fearsome second row combination (there wouldn't be anything as tall or heavy in the league).
With regards to the front row I can see Cross having a good season as an intelligent smaller tighthead in the Paul Wallace mould. I confess not to know the scrummaging abilities of McNeil, Grant or Traynor. Does anyone think they should displace Jacobsen or Cross. Also does anyone think Kerr should be there (apart from the one man fan club!). |
