And good luck to him the reason he's back up 10 is because there's no money!

Aye,wasn't saying he'd get it.

Teddy Leatherbarrow (20 year-old Scotland U20 openside) has been released by Sale Sharks.

Scott Steele (we know about him) has been released by London Irish.

I think both could be heading to Scotstoun, but it's possible we might end up with Leatherbarrow if Cockers is looking for a back-rower. A more experienced player might be a better bet though.
Help! We're being held prisoner in a signature factory!

If we're looking for a backrow and a wing we should sign some partnership deals with the Super6. Taylor at Southern Knights was a good player. And on the wing you have a few guys like Edmunds or MacPherson or McMichael.

Not convinced we need a backrow but back three we're very light. Fife on a partnership with the 7s would do too.

Let's be honest here, the sevens players are likely to be available until at least next year.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

There'll also probably be plenty of players kicking around if we need a short-term journeyman at some point.

Steele has been linked to Quins I think.

Six foot eight, 120 kg and 18 years old, grew up in Pilton and has just started playing rugby in SA, Olujare Oguntibeju is coming to Edinburgh as a trialist.

Looks like this will be your last season with Pierre Schoeman available during international windows. It appears that World Rugby have delayed the move from a 3-year residency period to a 5-year one. It's moved back from 31/12/20 to 31/12/21.

The practical impact for Scotland is that Schoeman will be SQ in Jul/Aug 2021 rather than Jul/Aug 2023 as had originally been expected.

Great story.

Not many lads from Pilton in contention for a pro rugby career.

Great story. Comes across very endearingly even in that short article and I find myself wishing him well. Would be great to see him fulfill his potential in Edinburgh which he calls home.
