I have offered to help get it into a working state, but there seems to be some reluctance to accept that offer (for whatever reason).

Even if we do manage to get it all back up and running, it will be hard work to get those who have struggled to get logged on and have subsequently drifted away, back and active again.

That's pretty much three Scottish Rugby forums lost in the last month or two. :(

FOSRS gone, this one unusable and now the weegie forum.

Even planet rugby is dying on it's a rse.

Not sure what has changed, but I am back in for the first time in weeks!

Looking very strange though, a very basic layout. Hopefully the others can get back on too.

This morning, I got given some of the keys to allow me to start to look into this. I'll not go into excruciating detail, but I'm working on it.

If all goes well, I'll have it back up and running soon. If all goes badly, who knows how long it will take.

I know my way around computing systems and have built things *like* this one in the past, although I have no direct, previous experience with the phpBB system and I've not begun to try to work out what drives the main part of the site. This may make things go slower than I might like. As will having to do paid work and deal with my other commitments as well.

The take home message is it's not abandoned and I'm working on it. Watch this space.

The forum is clearly just imitating the team at the moment – not good to look at or see in action, a bit ramshackle and falling to pieces, not performing as it should but (hopefully) fixable

I probably stand more of a chance of fixing the forum than I do of fixing the team.

Well done bignose, to show my gratitude I will save the last bite of my pie at the next home game!!

On the win at Ravenhill, I would maybe start off with a performance which wasn't pish then build from there!

Well done.
