Great signing, but I do feel a bit for Grant.

As other posters have noted, we have a really strong pack now, but it's increasing strength is making an obvious contrast to our back line, which is pretty patchy quality-wise. Perhaps Solly will adhere to 10 man rugby tactics, in which case we need a 10 who can kick from hand really well. It's highly unlikely to happen, but I think Weir would be a very good fit with Edinburgh now, and it would be better for him here than warming the bench at Scotstoun.

Feel sorry for roddy as well. He's been outstanding so far this season.

It's no brainer for me. Play hardie and watson together. They are both perpetual motion and i imagine would be horrible to play against. It's quite a prospect.

That would just leave a battle for the number 8 shirt.
