I think you'll find that Carter is not in the same league as The Tovenator

Have we unleashed Embra's Richie Vernon?

The Tovester would never throw an intercepted pass for Tommy Seymour to score at Murrayfield, therefore DC unfit to lace his dancing boots.

You're spot on, he's not in the same League.

Carter's in the Top 14 and Tovey the Pro 12.

That was McCaw, to be pedantic.

I wouldn't say pedantic. I'd say factually accurate.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

Lets not start letting stupid things like facts and accuracy start creeping into this forum! We have coped this far without them I'm sure we can continue just fine without them! :airborne:

Bumping this one up a bit in celebration of today's momentous news.

I think we may have found an answer to the longstanding 'what to chant?' debate. Surely it has to be (with apologies to Max Boyce and the Scouting movement):

"Tovey! Tovey! Tovey! Oi! Oi! Oi!" It'll be a bit like that mad guy with the mike at Clermont, or wherever.

Looking forward to seeing The Stovenator doing the business at various Embra venues over the next two seasons and beyond.

Worth revisiting this topic, following a masterful display by The Stovenator .

He really was masterful against Treviso. I was sat next to a couple of guys from Wales who were up on holiday and had fancied taking in the game, and they couldn't believe he'd not been signed up by a Welsh team.

Seeing how well he's played for Edinburgh I am a bit surprised the Dragons didn't keep him.

Weird we've gone from no 10s for a while to two who are playing well.
