There was word of Nel returning - likely to be on the bench first game back?

Bresler was also anticipated to return in January last time I spoke to him, which was admittedly a few months ago.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

I'd say on the season so far that Dell should be starting.

Nel and Bresler potentially back for this, so you'd hope they'd be on the bench so we could have

16. McInally, 17. Dickinson, 18.Nel, 19. Bresler, 20. Manu, 21. Kennedy, 22. Tovey, 23. Allen/Bryce

Seat prices for this are ridiculous. £28-£35-£40-£53. Didn't bother with it in the end as the transport was a bit pricier than expected, added to the ticket price.

Tickets for the final of the tournament arE £10-£30.

I looked at this a week ago, and I'm sure prices for a decent seat around the 22 were £40. Bit steep but not a disaster. Those same seats now seem to be £53. Are Quins chanelling EasyJet ? It is of course possible my memory is failing . . .

I've booked a couple of seats but some mates who were interested have said no to that price, and I don't blame them.

Having said all that most of the two main stands look pretty full, but plenty of room in the two ends.

Our tickets were £40 - I guess that what those rich south-easterners are used to paying.

Do you think if we doubled our ticket prices then we'd be able to keep our best players?

We'd struggle to get 1,000 through the door I reckon.

He MUST be a good referee, he's Irish. Irish officials are taking charge of seven of the twenty European games this weekend, so must have a very high degree of competence compared to every other nationality of referee. England and France with their much larger populations can only manage that many between them.It must be a national trait of impartiality and fairness that makes them so good.

Is anyone going? Any good recommendations for good pubs before or after? When we went down for the final against Glaws there didn't seem to be a pub for miles.

There's usually a decent craic in the pubs around Twickenham station - the Cabbage Patch etc. But they are a fair walk from the ground.

We've often used the St Margarets after the game.

However the claim it's a stone's throw from Twickenham is outrageous - 15 / 20 minutes walk IIRC

The Duke of Cambridge is a bit quieter for Quins games - Kneller Rd, Twickenham, Middlesex TW2 7DT. But good luck with parking - it's pretty much all residents permits round there.

Decent Guinness in the ground if all else fails.

However I hope everyone going is aware of this :

which will cause a lot of problems.

The Cabbage Patch, Albany, Shack 68 all by Twickenham Station are all pretty decent and within 20 mins of the stadium.

With the station shut there is a replacement bus service from Hounslow which I've been told will take 13 mins but I've been stuck in traffic around the area often enough to take that with a pinch of salt.
