Half time, currently beating Toulon. I've not long switched it on, but commentators saying "there's only one team [La Rochelle] in it"

If they take the 1/4 seriously we'll struggle

Seriously powerful last scrum. Nice kick from James too.

They looked pretty handy and Toulon lucky to lose narrowly! If both turn up with strongest teams then I could see us struggle. However they are doing well in Top 14 so might concentrate on that, hopefully!

I'd want to play their best team, if we're to become a top team we need to start beating top teams.

Aye. But it'd be nice if we had Nel, Dickinson and Sutherland available to do that.

La Roch are currently in 1st place. Clermont are still to play. You'd like to think that with being in first, they'd go for the Top 14 title than the Challenge Cup, As they're guaranteed to play in the champions cup next season. And they're away from home. French teams don't travel well.

Dickinson and Sutherland might be back in late March? If not I have faith in Dell, he's shown up very well this season. Cosgrove had shown some promise too - as have Berghan and McCallum and it'll be a big test to find out if they where we need them to be.

It was always going to be a very tough game.
I think La Rochelle is one of the favourite with Ospreys and Bath.
Even if they're in the run in the Top 14 and even if they rest some players, they'll be serious against us. I remember their coach being furious after the loss away to Gloucester which cost them the home quarter-final. They will try to win this competition, as well as us.
They're a strong and physical team. I hope that, when we'll play them, our own confidence will have grown with positive results on the way.

We are probably going to have to beat La Rochelle at home, Glaws away and then Ospreys in the final at BT Murrayfield to win this.

Looks like a walk in the park for a team like us carrying phenomenal domestic form into the tournament
Bill Mata. The second coming?

Toulouse made a bit of KelvinDeaker of that at the end.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.
