5 key players, but I think we can cope without them.
I'm glad to see Kennedy starting again. Great back-row, our usual back line (bar Weir), and a youthful front five.
Welcome Nick Beavon: a long awaited start, but you're now an Edinburgh player.
I'm really wary of this Munster side, even if it's not their first XV. I hope for a win.
They have their Irish players on the bench for impact, but if we are serious about competing next year we have to beat that Munster side. It's a big test for Hodge, Petrie and the SRU will be well aware of the line ups.
Friday Knight Lights wrote:15th points off sixth ... This league season is not looking good. If we're in with any chance we need to pick points up from the Irish and Welsh sides without their internationals - like Munster.
dolf_lundgren wrote:The real difference for them this season is Bayendaal, he has not be spectacular but they really lacked a 10 who could control the game and vary things. Keatley is very limited.
The Feral Goat wrote:If reports are to be believed Grant was on pretty big money at Glasgow and depending on how these loan deals work it may make fiscal sense to offload him and take on a lower cost alternative, I presume Arrugei has headed back to Argentina now as well.
In other prop news I saw Kyle White in the supermarket at lunchtime he is still on crutches but had an Anton Bresler with him to carry his shopping. Bresler did not look to be injured think he was due to play for Melrose around the time of the Timisaora match but it was cancelled anyone know if has he played any club rugby yet?

This year is not over yet!
They are missing Zebo, Earls, Keatley, Murray, Stander, Ryan ans Scannell: 7 players. That's not much more than us.
Bleyendaal and Williams are good players, as well as Taute at 15, Saili at 13 and their pack is solid with Kleyn, Foley, O'Donnoghue, O'Callaghan, Marshall, Archer...
We are waiting for a win but it's not going to be easy. I hope we'll show sign of improvements with this settled team, and have a good win.

I'd settle for 80 minutes of discipline and concentration.
And four tries, of course.
