:( Playing a schoolboy at fullback does not help! As I said earlier in the season but got poo booed he is another Harry Leonard I see no improvement in his standard of play.

The big question of the day, would this team do better or worse without any coaches? Send your answers to Mr. Dodson at Murrayfield.

The coaches have to go.

This Edinburgh team has talent, they don't have structure, they don't have confidence and quite what they do in training is beyond me.

Kinghorn had a tough few minutes and Dean had a shocker with the break but those two were our best players (obviously Watson too but that goes without saying) going forward. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water - the issue for me is Kinghorn has never been the best defender but there's zero improvement there, Dean has done an awful lot of good this season and some just plain awful too but I can't imagine he's benefiting from great coaching. If both were at Glasgow both would be in the Scotland squad by now I think.

All in all a game that shows there is ability and some (not enough though) fight in this team. Cockerill will improve their mentality and the set piece but he needs help with the backs and defence. It is clear Scott and Wilkins are not those guys.

Oh an Hamish Watson is just ridiculously good.

And that is why Edinburgh are so frustrating. They wait till the game is almost gone, then they start to play rugby. They put together some decent passages of play, then blow it with a silly mistake(or two). I think games like tonight show there is ability there, but mentally they are not firing, and they contrive to be less than the sum of their parts.

Hamish Watson was awesome we are lucky to retain him.

I am not excusing Kinghorns tackle effort which was pish, but where was a senior player player to pick him off the ground and put an arm round him say forget it etc, he was left to walk back behind the sticks with his hands on his head, where ws the team LawrenceBryce spirit we have heard about all season!

LawrenceBryce SteveWalsh, think I am done dragging myself to games this season.

Coaching coaching coaching.

Most frustrating thing about tonight is that the performance, even with its faults, would have won two or three of our last half dozen league games. When the performance is that variable it is down to coaching. When young players make basic mistakes around technique, positioning and tactics, it is down to coaching. Not happy with all the coaches still being here next year.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.
