Still think Monday is too little , too late. ER has clearly shown the supporters where they stand in their priorities. As previously noted, there have been a number of events that could have been used to keep the interest/communication going without necessarily stating the end game. I believe Cockerill has fully committed to Edinburgh, moved his family to Edinburgh, kids got places at Watsons etc. Can't see him being over-impressed but clear indication of where we are playing next year. Are they also going to have any pre-season games and, if so, when and where?

Perhaps they're being held up by an awaited announcement on Pro12 changes. A bit tricky to make one at this stage until the Pro12 confirm what is happening in the forthcoming season.

I get the impression the Pro 12 office is run a la Eddie Clockerty and Miss Toner.

Whilst I reckon the delay now is because the club don't want to sell season tickets without knowing who we'll play the Thistle lads claim the SRU haven't signed up for Myreside, didn't install a 4G pitch like they said and are looking at the Raeburn Place development...

I'd like to hear some(even just a little) news from the horses mouth rather than silence and empty promises of a statement, I don't think this is a case of "no news is good news" scenario.

TonySpreadbury up and brewery spring to mind.

Warriors fan received this in response to a direct email to the club.

"The club are working toward a 14 home game league format for the 17/18 season as per the standard season membership package.
If any changes are confirmed by the league, the club will make an annoucement at that time."

Willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one - they started with two deeply flawed venues but ideas for improvements they had to implement before selling and now they don't know what they're selling in regards to the league structure.

It's all a mess - not only Edinburgh.

If Myerside is a non starter for this season I think Petrie's position is untenable. He put his eggs in a partnership with GWC and if it hasn't panned out we are looking at Murrayfield and no further forward. The Pro 14 situation isn't of Wdinburgh's making but they could still sell ST on the basis of 12 games but they can't because they have an issue with our home for the season. It's a farce. Even for Edinburgh Rugby this is right up there. What a way to run a sports club

Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.
