If Stade Loose another game then they're out of the running for a QF spot, which would mean a 2nd/3rd team will be out when Embra play them next year.

I think its very important that we rack points up against both LI & Krasny to get 10 more points, kill the group off before we play Stade who will have hopefully lost interest by the time we play them, by gaining maximum points in every game would go along way of making us top seeds for the QF`s and a home tie .

He could have stayed one more week with the 7s. It could have helped Dalziel and we could have wait one more week.
Poor Bryce, I think he's done everything all right this year, but he ends as an emergency call-up for the 7s...

What fringe players or academy guy do you expect or wish to see against Krasny Yar ?
I would like to see Hunter-Hill (alongside Carmichael), Miller (at 6 with BRadbury at 8) and George Taylor (with Dean).

Hunter-Hill and Miller aren't in the squad, so can't be picked. Don't know what the rules around academy players are though, so Taylor might potentially be available, but if that's the case I don't know why we went to the effort of registering Shiel and Crosbie. So maybe he can only be used as injury cover.

Where is that squad ? I can't find it. :?
Edit: I looked on EPCR site, and there are no Hunter-Hill nor Miller.
So we shouldn't see many surprises next week... Maybe Shiel at 9, Bresler-Carmichael and maybe Bennett...

Suspect Kennedy will start at 9 next week. I wouldn't expect any of the starting 15 against Glasgow to start next week; Cockers will know the side he wants to play against Glasgow, and we have a strong enough squad to take on Krazny without risking them.

In pool 2 of the challenge cup, there have been 33 tries scored.

Edinburgh have scored 35.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

Toulouse beat again. Looks like they were only making up the numbers

Details of the games v Stade have been announced - first leg is Friday 12th of January at Myreside, 7.35 pm.
Then Saturday 20th at 9pm, presumably local time so 8pm here.
The game in Paris is to be shown on BT Sport.

Sounds like BT are gambling on Stade winning the first tie in Edinburgh thus making the Paris game a decider for the group?
Bit of a graveyard shift for the players and supporters-9pm on a Sunday night! And usually isn't the following week start of 6N camp for Scotland squad so hopefully we'll have qualified for a home QF already and Cockerill can afford to leave out all/most of those involved.

20th is a Saturday and don’t we have a named squad so limited rotation?

Apolgies-yes quite right the final game is Saturday 20th at 9pm local time ( 8pm UK time).
Again agree we are limited to the smaller nominated Euro squad so rotation may depend on how many injuries we are carrying that week (outside the limited squad changes allowed under EPRC regulations.)

The big advantage of that time is that we will know what all the other results are so we’ll know what we need to do for a home quarter final.
