Did you see what happened to Tovey by any chance?

https://youtu.be/YbSNStTlCpU?t=40m25s video should start just before he goes down. looks like cartilage issues in his knee.

Report in the Times suggested might not be as bad as first thought, and that he was walking as they left the ground. Guess we'll find out more this week. Maybe Cockers will indeed try and borrow one of the 5 stand offs he says Glasgow have, but I'd rather we used one of our own young guys to see what they offer.

Surely it's now or never for Baggott?

I've watched the whole thing now. It looked like a live training game at times, too many mistakes and the backs are still not really clicking, but it does look like they are on to something, some good go-forward ball and they might shock us all. Dean is so much improved this season, as is Rasolea.

The pack were really quite something though. That Krazny unit took Stade apart last week by all accounts - I googled the Stade 8 and whilst they aren't household names they are a big set of lads including a couple of Georgian international props. Only the young 19 year old flanker was a callow youth.
We lack a bit of pace, but that actually got better as the game wore on, McCallum had a huge impact, as did Big Berg. Bill Mata fitted in seamlessly (he looked like the biggest guy on the park). The backrow all looked good, carried well and gave us front-foot ball all game. The match was won up front, we'll need to recreate that on Saturday.

It's difficult to judge if that was a good performance or not, but at ten tries you can't really say it was a poor one

Rambo's darts looked spot on.
