Sorry but even I have lost patience with SHC, he has been shocking. Surprised he has lasted this long. I presume that Cockerill lost patience with him after the dodgy box kick that went straight out and lost us yards and eventually the scrum and penalty try. He has been useless.

Jesus, Bryce is pish.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

Think SHC is trying to hard his ambition is way beyond his skill and confidence level at present.

Our youthful pack struggling somewhat this half.

Bryce is just getting done. Hard to see us surviving their put-ins without conceding a penalty.

Not his finest game, but it didn't stand out to me as anything worse than the rest.

Bryce injured again, can he play anything more than 5mins?

SHC was really poor. Two shocking kicks out on the full, lots of seagulling, mediocre service.

Just poor from a lot of guys who should have been better. No threat in our backline beyond VdM who I don't think touched the ball in the last 30 minutes. So many simple errors that let the pressure off.

I can excuse the late-game set-piece collapse given the ridiculous number of absentees, but in the loose we really weren't doing anything.

Carmichael and Mata worked hard, Dean too in the backs. But better just to forget it and try and salvage something from the Kings game.

Mata and VDM were very good, a couple of them were ok, the rest were under par

apart from one or two who need firing out of a cannon into the Forth

I thought Kinghorn had a pretty good game too, though a couple of errors, he mounted some good counter-attacks but their defence was pretty sharp. Tovey also played well, made some good breaks and solid tackles.

I hardly noticed Bresler, was that just me or was he a bit anonymous tonight? He normally stands out.

SHC was shocking - making mistakes and poor passing. Give Shiel a go!

Poor performance but tough conditions.

Not sure what we hoped to achieve with Bryce at 3.

Back row a bit lightweight so we couldn't clear rucks.

Dean and JJ good. Kinghorn lively going forward but he's not showing the same effort in defence.

didn't think they were lightweight, just a bit similar. Carmichael ran around a lot but looked like a bit lost at 6 which was part of the problem. That and playing with only one lock and a shadow
