Halo effect from AIs

I expect (hope) there might be a bit of a halo effect from the AIs that brings more crowds to Myreside for the next few games. If the team can deliver results and play well that may create a bit of a virtuous circle, that brings more in. I think the next couple of games gives them the chance to do that and turn Myreside into a good evening / afternoon out.

I agree, the next few games, along with the 1872 provide a chance for dinburgh in particular to build some momentum. The euro double header may also provide a chance to talk things up a bit.

The style of rugby is also a bit better, under Solly, even the games which were won were not that great, so it was really the hard core who were going to stick around.

Fingers crossed we need to discuss the lack of capacity at Myrside very soon!

Indeed, and a win this Friday would be very helpful in keeping the positive momentum going. An Important game for us coming up.

Hope the SRU step up the marketing for the next couple of home Euro games against Irish and Krasny. They are certainly doing a fair bit on the social media channels with a Black Friday ticket offer etc. Everyone on here can do their bit by sharing the hell out of that kind of stuff among their networks and hopefully we can lift the attendance levels at Myreside off the back of the AI results and the breath taking style of rugby on show. 6 Nations just cannot come quick enough. Noticed that if the Welsh turn over the Boks on Saturday we will go into the tournament ranked 5th in the World.
