Can't help but feel there would have been a much larger crowd if the fixture were reversed ie Scotstoun tomorrow and Murrayfield on the 30th?
Huge number of "ex pats" travelling home tomorrow from the south who will miss out but would have been around for next Saturday (far exceeding those "going on holiday over Xmas").
As the fixtures are "arranged" rather than "drawn" I'm sure SRU/Edinburgh/Glasgow would have had a say in which way round-reckon could be losing 50k plus in revenue here.

Are you sure that the number of "ex pats" exceeds the number of people in Edinburgh who are ex pats from somewhere else? I'd've guessed these numbers were roughly equal.
