I doubt we will play on the Thursday it’s usually a more attractive for tv style fixture, so an English or French team is most likely.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

And yet another good interview with Cockerill.

“There’s no talent in effort, is there?,” the coach continued when asked how he was able to get evoke such strength of character from his players. “There’s just a choice: you can choose to stay in the fight or you can choose to give up. I only want players that want to choose to stay in the fight. Whether you’re young or experienced, world class or just a good club player, there’s no monopoly on effort.

“All I want is for Murray McCallum or Lewie Carmichael or whoever, Gilchrist, Du Preez or any of those senior guys – maximum effort all the time. Let’s see where it gets us. If I keep driving that it will become second nature and there will come a point where I don’t have to mention it at half-time, or before the game.”

He is saying the right things, I just hope we get the results.

I think we are still lacking at 9, 10 and 12. Maybe Shiel will be the answer at scrum half, and maybe Hickey at 10, though VdW has shown a few good moves he is currently frustratingly inconsistent.

Is the Myreside pitch currently unplayable at the moment? It can't be any worse than the Stade or Wasps pitch. Thought the pitch was a disgrace and contributed to Darcy's injury.

Looks like Stade are in trouble wrt relegation. Couple of points off the drop with a tough run in.
