I think the whole silver Saturday thing may well put adamlener on the plans to move a 9. There would be a serious revolt if that wa announced now unlesss it was preceded by a big name signing over there.

Hamilton has been long rumoured to be going there. Possibly logistics but they seriously need some decent pr and if he is going they should announce it now.

I think it would be funny as f.......

Still think it will happen but sure we can pick someone up regardless

I would think if it's happening (the 9 bit I mean), the paperwork will probably already be done and we can expect the announcement either for the general release of ST's next week, or the Season Launch Event on Wednesday. They normally keep something back for things like that and let's face it, other than introducing a new 9, there can't be anything else left in the tank can there?
Bill Mata. The second coming?

Hopefully

1. a new 9
2. details of the home preseason friendly
3. details about the ground on the back pitches
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

Mini-Murrayfield plans now viewable on the council's planning portal. It's not possible to link directly to them, so you'll need to go here: https://citydev-portal.edinburgh.gov.uk ... pplication and then search for "18/02489/FUL".

Thanks Frenchy. I stand corrected on my previous posts about which part of the area they were going to use. I look forward to reading the objections

Short video on Twitter/FB from ER of some of the players back in for pre-season…I think the dark blue training kit looks pretty good

Not seen it yet. Wasn't by any chance an unfamiliar looking scrum half in by any chance?

Interesting, wonder if it is just Edinburgh or other teams too?

IIRC they were sponsors of English rugby many moons ago...

The badge is an improvement imo - looks great on the kit.

I think you are thinking of Save & Prosper. Principal and Prosper is an Edinburgh firm with offices in Glasgow and Kelso.

They (P&P) have been sponsors since 2014 but clearly moving up the pecking order and onto prime spot on the shirts this year.
