If anyone is interested, i’m currently selling one of the new shirts on eBay. I was given two as a present and so selling the one that doesn’t fit as well. It’s a size large, excellent condition as it’s only been worn once.

I went into the shop today hoping to get a polo shirt for my partner's birthday next week however the stock of Edinburgh kit is minimal and the polo shirts were only in S and M.

The lady who served me (after I ended up only with a scarf) said she had no idea when new stock would be in which is a shame as I actually really like the new colours.

Despite being advertised as a 50-52' top, it fitted by 46-48 inch chest fine. Unfortunately despite being 6ft1' it came half way down my thighs so i returned it.

Had another conversation with the nice lady in the Scottish rugby store, apparently, the sizes differ between season and even between Scotland/Edinburgh/Glasgow. Everyone seems to be buying 1-2 sizes above what they usually do and it's thrown off their orders because they aren't selling the expected numbers of expected sizes.

I just want to buy my clubs top in a size that I can wear, it shouldn't be this hard.

I have Macron gear in 2XL, 3XL and 4XL. I got the people at Rugbystore to email me the actual measured garment chest sizes so I could compare with the gear I have and I've had to order 5XL this year. It's got to be affecting their sales, particularly as the stock in-store is non existent with no large sizes so you can't actually try the gear on. Given they knew about this rebrand from Sept / Oct last year it's inexcusable really!

Hard to estimate what sales could have been with a different supplier. For Edinburgh it is more the lost opportunity of getting the rebrand out there with people buying kit.

Does anyone know how these things work, is there more money from the "deal" or the sale of goods? If it is sale of goods then they have to think hard about working with Macron again, it is definatley affecting sales. Hibs have gone with them this year, not sure if they are finding issues?

I’m (moderately) interested to know why hats and scarves are now being sold in a different (navy) blue colour.

Maybe hard to match particular shades with different materials?

Everything seems to be hard for Macron.

Ran out of stock of the official Macron ones. The darker shade of blue hats and scarves come from a different manufacturer

Customer enquires about one small aspect of that little tizz you got yourself into. Fellow board member answered it. I Comment made about the kit supplier - a bone of contention here before. I know who likes to moan. Don’t like it, LawrenceBryce off.
