Too many errors. This is all a bit self inflicted.

Early season issues to iron out.

No movement of the ball at that maul. Why not shift the pointnof contact?

That's better when we put a little pace on it.

That has to be a penalty.

Would really like a replay of that maul.

Only ourselves to blame, got to start beating decent teams away far too many errors.

Not the best way to start the season. Few things to iron out but silver lining is a point is better than nowt.

Hugely disappointing-waiting three months for this season to start with great expectations then get that.
And yet we really should have won in the last five minutes.Odd that tv coverage didn't repeat that final lineout drive to see if it was stopped legally.Maybe didn't deserve to wein but amazing how we nearly turned it around.
As I posted at half-time North was excellent-best game I've seen him play for yeARS.
Oh and my first view of Hickey-sorry please give me VDW any day.

Enough opportunities that a duff decision (if it was) should not have mattered.

Ball control and retention very poor particularly when in good positions.

Was a poor early season match, ospreys did not make anything like the errors we did but did not really trouble us until we made mistakes.

Thought Pyrgos was decent brought a consistent delivery and sensible decisions which we are perhaps not used to.

Schoeman was good, Ritchie and McCallum made good impacts off the bench.

That would have been the funniest thing I'd read all week if it were not so true.

Last maul was a nonsense, the usual Lacey not wanting to make a decision against a big team thing.

But the loss is on us,on our mistakes. Any effect can make an error and change a game by a score. A good team puts itself in a position where that doesn't matter. Given our possession in their 22, the only difference that last maul should have made was whether or not we got the try bonus point.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

Berghan and Ford looked a bit rusty. Ford came on and made 3 big errors at a crucial time. Will be kind and say he hasn't played for a very long time.

Will also have to see how Scott gets on at 12 but I'm not sure if his distribution is good enough for the game we want to play, compared with Socino and Dean. I suppose it's a trade off with his running.

Quite a few positives though. Schoeman in the loose, Muzz, Watson, and the half backs.
