The moment that really sticks out is the JJ break where we got to there 5 then for some reason decide to slowly go from ruck to ruck then lost it. 5/7 points there seals the game as it would've killed their momentum.

We 'won' it in the 80th minute but in true Scottish fashion made a JonathanKaplan of the restart and lost it in the 81st.

I want to see the last two weeks demons properly exercised at home v connacht next week.

Was it Dougie who took the ball on from JJ's break? He slowed down rather than just pin his ears back and see what happens - we shouldn't have given up that lead.

It feels like we are on the verge of something, but we need to start converting these opportunities. Bennett's injury looked bad, hopefully it looked worse than it is, but if I'm being honest, JJ offered more.

Ritchie is as good as Watson, slightly different, but as good.

That's a terrible result given the way the game went. Failing to close that out from a winning position like that is pretty catestrophic. For a team that has aspirations to do something this season, that cannot be acceptable, and I've no doubt Cockers will be making that point plainly.

Dougie doesn't back himself, which is a little frustrating. Maybe he doesn't have that out-and-out pace though?

I thought he did the right thing. He wasn't making the corner so cut in and kept the ball. It was the "phase play" that came next. Slow, ponderous and ultimately lost.

Agree CG my TonySpreadbury is still boiling!

Too many individual 'moments' contributed to losing what was a pretty decent team performance in the main.

Guys - for all the over optimism a couple of LBs is probably what we deserve. An untried 9-10 and centre partnership and a rusty pack away from home has been found out. We have been exposed we are but will win convincingly at home.

I get a bit TonySpreadbury off about the over optimism and we will defeat all etc when our pack is announced. We really do miss a couple of big ball carriers in the pack and we have the recognise it. Our backs still struggle to maintain momentum once we Break the gain line like the Weegies. We will do ok but let’s get realisric!

Disagree we were in a winning position and comfortably the better team away to Ulster first half. If we were always chasing the game but got an LBP so be it but we weren't. Are you honestly happy with an LBP from the position we were in?

Got to be converting these to wins if we want to progress as a team.

It's disappointing but we rode our luck with a lot of our close wins last season, this season we've maybe been unlucky twice.

We're now in a position where we are playing away at decent teams and looking more than competitive. We should be beating everybody comfortably at home now, and once the new players are bedded in we'll be turning them over away as well.

Probably not but we are not the world beaters some think we are! Let’s win our home games and learn how
To win away. We have a strong squad but have a way to go to win away games, mostly mentally. Our pack isnt a world beater nor are our backs the ABs! They are learning but we have a way to go. We will win easily at home.

We are probably 6-7 players away from where we need to be, let’s all calm down?

PS got first two results right - WBP next’
