Nick Isiekwe too. You'd think Kruis and Itoje are away most of the year so there's a chance he gets some minutes but there's as much a chance with GG Toolis away with Scotland and rest protocols.

Saracens said an academy loan and seemed to suggest he's there for the A team league as much as anything.

Doesn't really make sense for anyone except Sarries A team.

my bad FKL, meant to include Isiekwe (meant to) who is an excellent player.

Cockerill singing the praises of CHH's ability and potential has a rather hollow ring to be frank about it.
he has wanted to shift him, and Sarries have spotted CHH (they regularly scout for talent at our (and Welsh) pro teams, academies and age grades.
I doubt he will be back and if he hacks it with Sarries Cockerill has some explaining to do

My concern is he's behind 5 absolute athlete freaks at Sarries. If he gets serious gametime in that rotation we've missed out on a serious player. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to another English side after a good run at Sarries. Good luck to him but I agree there's a hollow ring to Cockers praise. I'd rather have CHH playing than Murray Douglas and Sam Thomson to be honest.

It could be a combination of things. RC not rating him as highly as some and CHH hearing that Sarries want him and has decided he quite fancies it.

He did sign a new contract in April, and presumably both parties were happy with each other then.

Big Bill was ruled out of this morning’s game v Uruguay.

Calf injury.

Looks like we’ll have our internationals back for the Scarlets game.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

Excellent question!

I would take the backs back on a flash. Forwards , well Watson's crocked, Richie and Bradbury still to show buy the other forward can stay on Japan as long as they like. Same pitiful stuff as last season from them.

Aye we're better off without Nel, Berghan, club captain Rambo, Toolis and Gilcho right enough

What nonsense!

It’s good to see we have an alternative to rotate with rather playing guys into the ground, will the Scotland squad get home if they traveled to Japan with the official tour operator Thomas Cook?

With you there.

It is fascinating though that Toony seems to get so much less from them than Cockerill does.

It's a different game, I don't think they're built for the "fastest rugby in the world".

Mcinally is often a Scottish standout and can play that game.

I think Gilchrist in particular is badly used by Scotland.

I don’t think anyone is built for the fastest right in the world. It’s a bullshit jingo along the lines of”we will be the fittest team in the tournament “ which we hear regularly.

Gilcho looked back to the plodding player we had before cockers arrived, Nel has changed his shape and game and is now a scrummager and hasn’t been a carrier for some time which is inter sting give. He arrived here the opposites.

I am hoping they will come out like raging bulls tomorrow, the bloody well should do.

One other point, I think the back row balance is wrong. Barclay has shown he works really well playing g with a big bruiser like Mata or Beattie at 8. Wilson would work well with the likes of Thomson or Bradbury at 6. Playing them together though is just too similar. Particularly if our 2nd rows are. It dynamic carriers. Watson lets you away with it to a degree but he is like 2 plywrs in 1 and can’t do it all.

The back row at Scarlets was a bit of an anomaly and was at lower level, they were all excellent players too.
