That's good news for us, he has been awesome recently, also depowers their scrum quite a bit assuming bob Harley starts instead.

So if we get 2 pts from this game Do we play off vs Ospreys for the big cup place? If so still plenty to play for.

Aye, Os away is the prize for a minimum of 2 points tonight - best result for Scottish rugby is us getting 2, Glasgow getting 5, unless Munster lose, in which case we can win with impunity :D

The conference system was not popular in some parts and was roundly trounced, but the fact that going in to the last two games of the regular season three of the four teams involved are playing for something that will change their fortunes, as have almost everyone today, shows it works at that level at least.

I only wish it wasn’t us that are playing for the nitty gritty spots, we should have had this put to bed and just out for fun tonight, gotta go now , speeches to come at the do, then sneaky peeks at the iPad the rest of the evening.

Agree wholly, we could and should have had our third place wrapped securely up by now. I really hope we can change up a gear from 10-man rugby tonight. As DolfL (sort of) says, if we're behind in the last 20, let us please spread the ball wide and see what we can do in attack, nothing to lose now and need to go at it for the full 80, see if our guys can get the ball over the whitewash.

Familiar story unfortunately. Dominating possession, lots of phases, but can't score to save ourselves.

If you take away the 3 man pick and go from Edinburgh's playbook I'm pretty sure they would score way more tries, even if all that was left was "shovel it along the line aimlessly".

Ah great, now McInally's hurt his ankle. There goes his World Cup.

Beyond embarrassment looks like you team pick and choose their matches to attend too

We were rubbish, Glasgow very good.

We dominated territory and possession stats but we have no cutting edge.

Thankfully Charlie Shiel continues to impress, he needs to start as from next season

We got marmalised by Glasgow. Fair play to them that was impressive.

Tom Gordon was in our academy ... We could've had Watson and his clone.

Yeah, as good as Barclay is we had Hamilton, Gordon and Boyle needing game time. Good luck to the weegies.

We've Darge and Mann as well who are both very highly rated. Darge is an openside like Boyle. Mann a bigger unit who is being bulked up Bradbury style.
