Not enjoying our game plan 1st half, which is all too familiar. But a one point win would be a decent, given their team.

Stupid turnover of possession, why don't number 8s take it to the other side away from the opposition scrum half any more?

That was a terrible decision against Schoey

Hoyland's having a fairly good game, but we're not clicking in attack, our back 3 aren't seeing the ball unless from a kick

I don't think Groom is the scrum half we need

Not sure, his skills look good, it looks more like the game plan's the problem

Crosbie's made an impact as well, a couple of good turnovers

He hesitates at the base of the ruck and the scrum

That is a terrific smash and grab raid from us, we don't often beat Cardiff.

Great try from Bennett, good game from Taylor standing in for Matt Scott

Great win.

What a barnstormer from Taylor - didn't think he had that in him.

Think Shiel was good again too. I guess with Groom as captain makes a start unlikely but probably deserves it.

Really professional performance.Well done lads.
My heart sank when I heard Matt Scott had pulled out by my goodness Taylor stepped up hugely-didn't realise he was so strong -and some great touches apart froim making the try for Bennett (who otherwise had a quiet game.
(And I hope Duhan's shoulder is ok for next week?)

Happy with that, away to one of our main conference rivals missing a good few players and we get a 4-0 result. A bit grindy, and would have been nice to see more ambition earlier on, when Shiel came on and upped the pace we did see results, but that's not a serious complaint.

VdW had a good game and deserved MoM, but Taylor had a very impressive performance for coming into the team so late and wasn't far off it himself.

Taylor and Hoyland both had good games, a few nervous moments but an away win at the start of the season is good.
