It probably shouldn’t, but I don’t recall seeing one other instance of the ref carrying that over the half time break. It smacked more of evening up, and though it worked in Edinburgh’s favour I still thought it was BS

It's pretty unusual to build up that many offences that early in the game but I wouldn't expect any ref to let it slide just because they reached half-time. The Dragons player never got onside at any point despite Clancy seeming to give him 2 clear warnings to move. Stupidity by Taylor and given the circumstances I'd say he got what he deserved.

No doubt Pyrgos was following the game plan, but there was stuff in the press from Matt Scott after the Scarlets game, iirc, where he said the expansive style was player-driven and Cockers was made to trust them with it. If we don't execute the fancy stuff and keep getting it ever so slightly wrong with forward passes and dropped balls, Cockers is going to want to return to the tight game plan, especially against the Munsters and big French sides, where in fact the expansive style is probably more likely to prevail.

We have to keep at it and those little passes will be flat and they will stick.

If Henry’s not happy with the quality of the forwards play at the breakdown as captain is it not up to him to kick KelvinDeaker and re organise? We have a warp speed back line, let’s get it to them before the oppositions focuses and closes us down. :?
