Playoffs and next season's Heineken Cup.

There, I've said it.

Great win in Wales. Now if we can beat Connacht and Cardiff at home, we will squarely be in the box seat for next year's big boy Cup. And potentially a home playoff game.
Don't mention Rory Hutton. I did once but I think I got away with it.

We'll pay for such optimism, Biffer, mark my words!

I’ll live in hope till there are fewer games left to play, but the league position surely gives the squad a boost and encouragement.

It does. Given the 6N effect, I could have seen us lose all 3 of these games, so to win away to Scarlets is a real boost. Next week against Connacht is going to be really difficult, with the players we're likely to lose (do Connacht lose any?). Connacht are a good side, but if we can win that we'll be in a very good position. Old cliché, but it really is one game at a time at this stage of the season.
