Never an advocate of backs winning this, but Matt Scott had a great comeback from long term injury and always played on the front foot.

Failing that Crosbie is and Haining did well. Yes t annoys me a bit this has been turned into a player of the year type award with the public vote.

Couldn’t agree more, this is supposed to be about blood and snotters, Bresler hitting rucks, Toolis nicking lineouts, WP getting nosebleeds from his efforts in the scrum, Gilcho ruining the other team’s maul, Fordy being an immense scrummaging hooker, Fraz for Old Skool hardness, that imo is what this award is about.

Ritchie, Crosbie, Sutherland, Schoey and Haining are great candidates, but Mish is what we want from the furrits, never take a step back, compete for everything, punch above your weight at all times, inspire annoyance at his prowess and envy from other supporters that he plays for your team

I went for Crosbie. Never took a step backwards all season. He would be a first choice in virtually any other back row in Europe.

I'd be more than happy for Crosbie to win it, he has been terrific for us.

Just as long as it's no a back.

I voted for Sutherland. Think it's been great to see him putting that horrible, horrible injury behind him.

So we have both an "iron Man" and a "Man of Steel"?
