Will have to agree to disagree, you shouldn't be sent of for making a legal tackle.

Can complain about the odd pen (thought Owen's bottled last scrum) but the win was within our own control.

Poor discipline be that genuine or not adapting to Owen's interpretation.

Poor kicking game first half in particular.

Not getting graham on the ball enough.

Lacked composure still at key times.

Disagree a bit on leadership thought we generally chose the right time to go posts or corner, rambo was talking to the players and cant then be responsible for them not following Owen's guidance.

Really frustrating to not get a win

Not sure if it is just me but Premier Sports commentators are so biased towards any Irish team. Bill McLaren must be rolling in his grave, god bless his soul.

The positive is it was so much better than last week but a lot more required.

Concerning is I am not sure how we change things, that was a strong team.

Swap graham and hoyland to get graham on the ball more?

Mata may have made a difference but this is likely to be his last ER season so not a long term solution.

Appreciate game was in balance until late but clearly no confidence from cockers to take a punt on Chamberlain or kanuvala at this stage.

Cold light if day I think we were basically Munstered out of the game. In 8solation this was a decent performance and without the recent other performances we would normally not be too downbeat about this.

We showed up well in defence and attack, and used the ball with more guile. Where we struggled was to adjust to the referee (again) and we didn’t manage to close out with a lead (again).

We do still need to vary our attack, but the centres looked much mor threatening, VDM was well marked and we should use him more as a dummy runner to create space.

I thought Haining had a much better game(not hard) and was back to what we saw last year.

What really killed us was not having faith in the bench, in a hard game like that you can’t afford to only have 19 players vs 23, they were able to bring on the likes of Murray, while. We didn’t trust Kunavula, Nutton, Chamberlain or Johnstone.
The last scrum at any other point if the game could well have been a penalty to us, it was a pity Schoeman didn’t get more scrams vs their replacement, he clearly had him on toast, despite what the “expert” commentators waffled about.

Look that was night and day from the Ospreys game..but yes we were ""Munstered out of the game" as previous poster said.A bit worrying that entirely possible the starting pack could be the starting eight against, say,Georgia>
No one let us down and annoying that if Taylor(who had an excellent game) had made the line at around 55mins we'd have been looking at (only) one more try for a bonus point -and we held Munster off from scoring a try until the 77th minute.
More worrying is that we won't now see a full squad until Champions Cup in mid-December at the earliest. I think it will be a major achievement if we qualify for the Champions Cup for next season.

its not just getting the ball to these guys, its what sort of ball. Watching them conjure something out of nothing is great fun. Relying on that is insanity

The pack flattered to deceive IMHO. Too often a carrier isolated. Rash decision or poor back up? Where is the "latcher"? The guy to guy the extra shove or just secure the ruck? Stupid players, lazy players or poor coaching?

And while Groom was ok, he isn't a great 9, VDW is still too flat and his kicking game has gone to pot - even bigger problem when none of the others has much of a kicking game at all.

Cockerill is obstinate to the point of pig headedness. He made his mind up weeks ago that some players would only get on the park if his hand was forced. He is as likely as not now to just dig in and experiment less.
