Davidson, kunavula, blain all decent individually but the collective performance is no where near good enough.

I was just about to say that, no one has actually played badly, is it a systems thing?

When it’s your night... even the ball is bouncing well for Connacht

Don't think we have been torn apart like this since mcrae has overseen defence feels like connacht have spotted something and exploited it. However effort level in first half was not great like we are suffering a hangover from the knockout losses still.

There was a time last season when our defensive systems improved. Our attacking structure has been SteveWalsh since forever but we've got away with moments of individual brilliance to paper over the cracks. When that fails, we don't actually have a clue.

Any move that we try to run just looks so predictable. I hate watching it.

No urgency to even try and earn a LBP.

And why did pyrgos take a midfield scrum when we had 2 maul tries already.

Leadership leadership leadership get Mike Coman back!

6 in a row. Beaten by Munster B last time thumped at home by injury hit Connacht.

So much of it comes down to attack. We can't threaten defences and put them under stress which can lead to tries or at least penalties from their indiscipline. Instead we struggle to hold on to our ball and kick it away or lose it. We have absolutely nothing besides relying on individuals after years of Hodge's coaching

at the start, looked very threatening. Quick ball, VDW standing flat attacking the gain line. Then stupid pens, VDW goes back into his 6m deep zone, defence can order a taxi and still get into the face of the attack, then we have the slow pass at shoulder height which the catcher has to stutter to catch. Have no one to run an attack. No coach can help that. Recruitment of ball players has been SteveWalsh (did have Francis, he got a bad press here). Development worse. For a decade
